Elderly Valerie has been murdered by an overdose of painkillers and there are suspicious bruises on her neck. The two key suspects in the case are her sons Gavin and Miles who make no secret of their cold relationship with each other.

THE DECORATOR a play by Donald Churchill
Walter is doing up a study at the Knightsbridge mansion flat of the Marcia. He overhears the loopy Jane popping in to confront Marcia about her affair with Jane's husband -and to say that she'll be back later on to tell all to Marcia husband Reggie. The trouble is, the precious Walter is a hopeless ham who mixes references to Shakespeare and Coward with gestures that would make a silent-movie star cringe.
